It was all Succubus’ fault that Ondine was now crying at the docks. Really, it was. With all the drama going on, Ondine had forgotten that she and Harry had planned to go sailing again. So it startled her when Harry sat down beside her. He put one arm around her, holding her as she cried.

“Ondine, are you alright?” He asked, when she stopped crying.

“I’m fine…” She sniffled. “Some of us got in a fight again…Succubus said some mean things…again.”

“Shall I have a talk with her?” Harry asked.

“No…I kinda made it worse.” Ondine replied with a sigh. “She always starts shit…so I thought I’d try it…let her know how it feels. I told her about us going sailing…and that you called me cute…and that you said you liked mermaids. I told her I was gonna steal you from her…”

“Oh, Ondine,” Harry smiled. She was cute and he did like mermaids. “Angela, you know I-”

“I know, I know,” Ondine interrupted. “You love Rae, I know….”

Harry laughed softly. He gave Ondine a hug and kissed the top of her head.

“Come on, why don’t we go find sea shells? That will make you feel better, won’t it?”

“Perhaps….maybe…..yes.” Ondine responded. “Yes it will.”

Nereus sat down next to Ondine. She was reading some old looking book, but looked up to see him massaging his jaw.

“I told you.” She said.

“Like hell you did.” Nereus argued. “Shite, that Whiskey fella has an impressive right hook. You didn’t say they were exclusive. I just wanted to see what the changeling would be like in bed.”

“And that is why you got punched,” Ondine told him. “That sentence right there.”

Nereus sighed, looking around the room. Several other agents were present, all going about their own business. He nudged Ondine with his elbow when he saw someone he hasn’t met before. “Who is she?”

Ondine looked up, irritated. “Who? Razzy?”

“Razzy??” Nereus repeated.

“Agent Raziel.”

“Does she have someone?” Nereus asked, still watching Raziel. His eyes were drawn to her every time he looked away.

“I wouldn’t know, I don’t really socialize with everyone all that much.” Ondine replied. “Why don’t you go find out?”

“You just want to see if I’ll get punched again.” Nereus pouted slightly.

Ondine smiled. “Yes, I do.”
